Submission Criteria
To qualify for an automated Safety Score evaluation, repositories must satisfy:
- Public GitHub or GitLab repository
- Recognized OSI / SPDX open-source license
- Container or source installation instructions
- Minimum of 100 stars or 10 active contributors
Notice for Project Maintainers
Did our automated scraper flag an operational risk that your project has since remediated? Or did your OpenSSF scorecard recently improve?
Our scoring cron recalculates telemetry on a rolling weekly schedule. If you have deployed a critical patch and require an immediate on-demand rescan, email our security desk at security@safeopensource.org with your repository URL and release tag.
